Facial Preparation
To ensure optimal results and minimize the risk of irritation, please discontinue the use of all exfoliating agents, including physical scrubs, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), beta hydroxy acids (BHAs), and enzyme-based exfoliants, as well as any retinol or retinoid products at least 72 hours prior to your appointment. If you are currently using any prescription-strength topicals or undergoing dermatological treatments, please inform your provider in advance to ensure appropriate modifications can be made to your service
Facial Aftercare
After your facial, your skin may be more sensitive than usual. Avoid wearing makeup, intense heat, exercise, or sweating for at least 12–24 hours. Skip exfoliants, retinol, or strong active ingredients for 3–5 days. Protect your skin from sun exposure and stay consistent with gentle, hydrating products. Wait at least 7 days before undergoing any facial waxing or hair removal.
LED Contraindications
Low-level light therapy should not be used if you are currently taking photo-sensitive medications; please wait 3–5 days after completing such prescriptions and consult your doctor before beginning treatment. It is also contraindicated if you are receiving steroidal injections, have a history of epilepsy or seizures, or if you are pregnant avoid use over the abdomen, though treatment on the face is considered safe. Additionally, light therapy should not be applied over areas with cancer or known metastasis without prior medical clearance..
Facial Chemical Peel Preparation
To reduce the risk of irritation and ensure the best results, please discontinue all exfoliants (AHAs, BHAs, scrubs, enzymes) and retinol/retinoids for at least 3–5 days prior to your peel. Avoid sun exposure, waxing, and any other skin treatments in the days leading up to your appointment. Let your provider know if you are using any prescription skincare or have had recent cosmetic procedures.
Chemical Peel Aftercare
After a peel, it’s important to avoid picking or peeling flaking skin, as this can cause scarring. Keep your skin moisturized and wear sunscreen daily,even indoors. Avoid heat, sweating, exfoliating, waxing, or other intensive treatments for 7-10 days, or as advised by your provider. Mild redness and peeling are normal; your esthetician will guide you through what to expect based on your peel depth.
Waxing Preparation
Please arrive with clean skin and ensure that any areas being waxed are free of makeup. Discontinue use of any retinoids, including Retin-A, retinol, tretinoin, or acne treatments for at least two weeks prior to your appointment. We cannot wax skin that is sunburned or visibly irritated, and clients must be off Accutane for a minimum of 12 months before receiving facial waxing.
Waxing Aftercare
After waxing, it’s common to experience temporary reactions such as slight soreness, redness, or small white bumps, especially if it’s your first time. These symptoms typically subside within 24 to 48 hours. To support proper healing, keep the waxed area clean, cool, and dry during this time. If you notice prolonged redness or irritation, or have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
Brow Lamination Preparation
Please do not trim your brows for at least four weeks prior to your appointment, this is important for achieving the best results. If waxing is included in your service, discontinue retinoid use for a minimum of two weeks. Arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the brow area. If you’re using a brow growth serum, please let us know in advance. If you’ve had a brow lamination with another provider, please wait a minimum of 10 weeks before booking with us. Lastly, we can absolutely laminate over microblading or cosmetic tattoos, just be sure your tattoo is fully healed before your appointment.
Brow Lamination Aftercare
For the first 24 hours following your service, avoid getting your brows wet and steer clear of heat, steam, saunas, oils, lotions, creams, face washes, makeup remover wipes or pads. Do not brush your brows during this time, as they are in the "setting" phase. After 24 hours, begin applying Elleeplex nightly to the brows to nourish and maintain results. Refrain from using any other serums or makeup for at least 48 hours.
Lash Lift Preparation
Arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the eye area. If you’re using a lash growth serum, please let us know in advance. We also recommend avoiding caffeine before your lash lift, as it can increase sensitivity. Contact lens wearers should be prepared to remove lenses prior to a lash lift, as the service cannot be performed with them in. If you’ve previously worn eyelash extensions, please wait at least four weeks after removal and ensure all extensions are completely off before scheduling a lift. If you’ve had a lash lift with another provider, please wait a minimum of 8 weeks before booking with us.
Lash Lift Aftercare
For the first 24 hours following your service, avoid getting your lashes wet and steer clear of heat, steam, saunas, oils, lotions, creams, face washes, makeup remover wipes or pads. Lash lifts and brow laminations are best maintained every 8 weeks when done together. If done separately, lash lifts can be repeated after 6 weeks. For optimal results, we highly recommend taking home Elleeplex to support moisture retention, lash health, and longer-lasting effects.
Facial Contraindications
Facial treatments may not be suitable for individuals with certain conditions or sensitivities. Contraindications include active cold sores, open wounds, rashes, sunburn, severe acne, or any contagious skin conditions. Clients who have recently undergone laser treatments, chemical peels, or cosmetic injectables should wait the appropriate amount of time as advised by their provider before scheduling a facial. Those with highly sensitive skin or specific allergies should consult with their esthetician to determine if a facial is appropriate. If you are currently taking Accutane (Isotretinoin) or have completed a course within the last 12 months, it’s important to approach skin treatments with caution. Accutane significantly increases skin sensitivity, dryness, and the risk of irritation or adverse reactions.For your safety and optimal skin health, we do not perform facial treatments, exfoliation, or waxing services on clients who are currently on Accutane or who have been on Accutane in the last 12 months.
Chemical Peel Contraindications
Chemical peels are advanced exfoliating treatments and are not suitable for everyone. Contraindications include active cold sores, open wounds, sunburn, inflamed or severely sensitive skin, eczema, or rosacea. Clients who have recently used retinoids, Accutane (within the past 12 months), or undergone laser treatments, microneedling, waxing, or other resurfacing procedures should wait the recommended amount of time before receiving a peel. Peels should also be avoided if you have recently had cosmetic injectables or are using certain prescription skincare products. Always inform your esthetician of any medications, skin conditions, or recent treatments to ensure a chemical peel is safe and effective for you.
Waxing Contraindications
Facial waxing cannot be performed if you’ve had laser skin resurfacing within the past year or a physician-administered chemical peel within the past two years. You’ll need to wait at least seven days after a light chemical peel or microdermabrasion before booking a waxing service. Additionally, discontinue use of any retinoids, including Retin-A, retinol, tretinoin, or acne treatments for at least two weeks prior to your appointment. We cannot wax skin that is sunburned or visibly irritated, and clients must be off Accutane for a minimum of 12 months before receiving facial waxing.
Brow Lamination Contraindications
Brow lamination is not recommended if you are currently experiencing or have a history of certain conditions or treatments. These include psoriasis or eczema, recent eye surgery, alopecia, recent permanent makeup, sunburn, ultra-sensitive skin, or the presence of scar tissue in the treatment area. Additionally, individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, using brow growth serums, taking blood thinners, or currently experiencing pink eye should avoid this service. Your safety and the integrity of your skin and brows are our top priorities.
After 48 hours you can begin conditioning your brows regularly using your usual hair conditioner. Each morning, dampen your brows and use a clean mascara wand or brow gel to shape and set them in place. Once dry, they will hold their shape throughout the day. Elleeplex is also recommended nightly to keep brows healthy and hydrated.
Brow lamination can be repeated after 8 weeks. In between appointments, you may tint brows every 4 weeks. For optimal results, we highly recommend taking home Elleeplex to support moisture retention, brow health, and longer-lasting effects.
Lash Lift Contraindications
Lash lifts are not suitable if you are currently experiencing or have a history of certain eye or skin conditions. These include cysts, styes, blepharitis, or any recent trauma, cuts, abrasions, burns, or swelling around the eye area. Clients undergoing or recovering from chemotherapy, or who have had recent eye operations, should also avoid this treatment. Other contraindications include skin disorders near the eyes, eye infections or inflammation, excessively watery or hypersensitive eyes, dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, alopecia, Bell’s palsy, and claustrophobia. Lash lifts are also not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Your comfort and safety are always our top priority.
